Traffic Measures

The IP Traffic Measures generate measures of interest based on the trace file created by the Traffic Receiver.

The interface for the IP traffic measures is shown in Figure . It can be seen from the figure that we can obtain several types of measures: loss, success, throughput, jitter, band capacity, buffer size, drop rate and delay. The measures that can be estimated from a trace depend on the traffic generation model adopted.
